Software Developer – Node.JS

To meet the growing demand for our technology and services, we are currently growing our Kx R&D team in the role of a “full-stack” node.js developer.
This person will ideally work near one of our Ireland or London offices and must be able to coordinate with both team members in the offices, and team members worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Estimate development work and deliver accurate time estimates
  • Perform analysis and research into new technologies as directed
  • Identify risk with an approach, especially with regards to handling personal data
  • Agree to a proposed solution, and deliver agreed tasks in-sprint
  • Test experiences to ensure a positive user experience
  • Collaborate with other members of the R&D team (via zoom and slack)
  • Work closely with graphic designers/front-end developers to ensure consistent branding
  • Perform other related duties as required or assigned



  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 7+ years of experience in software and/or SaaS product marketing
  • Demonstrated track record creating compelling messaging, positioning, and executing product launches
  • Experience working in a fast-paced growth environment
  • Ability to understand the technology and explain it in simply in well-crafted messaging
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to easily transition from high-level strategic thinking to creative and detailed execution
  • Ability to manage time and juggle multiple priorities to execute high-quality deliverables.
  • Experience working with strategic partners on joint marketing initiatives
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional, global organization



This role can be based in Belfast.
