To meet the growing demand for our technology and services, we are currently growing our Technology Engineering Team.
We have opportunities for graduates to get involved in a growing FinTech project which uses a diverse set of technologies primarily in reporting risk. Within this project you would initially be responsible for supporting the client banks risk and reporting systems and progress into a risk developer role.

You will work closely with senior risk developers to build your understanding of risk and the various technologies used across the banking industry. There is a strong technical aspect to the role and having a knowledge of financial markets would be an advantage.

We work as a team, but sometimes you will need to use your strong problem-solving skills on your own. Communication is also key – when you solve a new problem you will share what you learn from it and help build the team’s guidelines and procedures.

Criteria:

  • An inquisitive mindset, an aptitude for problem-solving and technical skills to combine them.
  • Excellent communication skills to present findings and articulate their business benefits.
  • Experience with SQL or C# is beneficial but not an essential requirement.
  • A self-starter who is constantly looking for opportunities to improve.
  • Strong academic background – ideally a 2.1 degree in Computing, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Physics, Engineering or a similar quantitative discipline.
  • Available to work shift hours and weekends where required.
  • Strong written and spoken English – good communication skills

Location:

This role will be based in Hong Kong.
