KX is a division of FD Technologies, a global technology provider with 20 years of experience working with some of the world’s largest finance, technology, retail, pharma, manufacturing and energy institutions. KX delivers the best possible performance and flexibility for high-volume, data-intensive analytics and applications across multiple industries.

We are currently looking for Machine Learning Engineers who are proactive and driven self-starters. They must have a passion for Machine Learning and software development focused in this area.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform design and development of machine learning solutions focused on integration with and built upon KX technology.
  • Develop enhancements and optimizations of existing libraries/solutions.
  • Provide maintenance, support and troubleshooting of existing solutions.
  • Test and benchmark for reliability, performance, and scale.
  • Build, release, and version management.
  • Produce technical documentation.

Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree (2:1) or higher in Physics, Mathematics or a related field.
  • Comfortable with development using one of the following languages: C / Python.
  • Understanding of modern source control and continuous integration.
  • Passion for Machine Learning, and a desire to learn new technologies

 

Nice-to-have skills:

  • Experience developing software using the KX technology stack (q/kdb+).
  • Experience working with one or more cloud technologies (GCP, AWS and Azure)
  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or similar frameworks.
