The Opportunity

Due to growth, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing global recruitment team, this role will be based in our fantastic new office in Łódź.

In your role as Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for planning and executing recruitment activities and supporting the business growth. You will implement strategies to ensure that hiring targets are met and will support the attraction and acquisition of high calibre talent. You will strive to provide a best-in-class candidate experience and act as a brand ambassador for recruitment at First Derivative.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Oversee and manage the full lifecycle recruiting process for technical positions based predominantly across Poland, but also supporting hiring within the UK and North America.
• Acting as a trusted recruitment partner, taking ownership of the successful conclusion of projects, monitoring the effectiveness of recruitment processes, and suggesting improvements.
• Continuously engaging with talent pools to ensure adequate pipelines are in place for key roles. Providing regular updates on talent shortages, market trends, and candidate status.
• Conduct pre-screening calls and first stage interviews
• Provide an outstanding candidate experience, from initial introduction to onboarding
• Work closely with Legal/HR/IT team for the onboarding of new hires

Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

• 5+ years’ experience working in a fast-paced recruitment role.
• Ability to manage a high volume of requests from hiring managers concurrently.
• Experience managing multiple candidates and engaging with them to explain in detail the role/projects being discussed.

Desirable:

• Tech/Finance/FinTech industry experience
• Global recruitment experience
• Working knowledge of key areas and trends in the IT; Java, C#, Cloud, GCP, C++
