First Derivative provide managed services and consulting to our clients in the capital markets sector worldwide, with a focus on supporting mission-critical systems and helping them achieve and maintain regulatory compliance.

The Opportunity

We have an excellent opportunity for a motivated C# .Net Software Engineer (across mid to Senior and Lead Levels) to join First Derivative. The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to work as part of a global practice and to work with a major financial institution.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

Must Haves

• Experience and excellent skills using C# .Net Core Programming
• Good experience with SQL server
• Experience creating and maintaining microservices architecture and Service Oriented architecture (SOA).
• Azure DevOps
• An ability to break down a problem and present a logical solution or next step to solving a problem
• Experience using cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is highly beneficial
• Any experience on the Front End technology (e.g. Angular) is also beneficial
• Good knowledge on web-based applications using ASP .Net, Entity Framework, Web services (SOAP and REST), MVC Framework
• Ability to add value in an Agile set up
